GUIDED MEDITATION

Unlike traditional meditation where one guides themselves in silence, guided meditation leads the practitioner through the process step by step to help achieve a deep level of peace and inner stillness.

Mindful meditative guidance

Using calming instructions, visualisation and breathing exercises, we focus and relax the mind. This gentle guided practice helps students become grounded and present even when the mind starts to wander.

Guided meditation is a great place to start for beginners and those who struggle to quiet the mind by themselves. It allows students to build confidence in their practice so that over time it becomes second nature to their nervous system.

In a private session, we work together to develop a meditation style that is unique to you and how your mind works, developing your ownership of the practice.

Meditation techniques

Exploring a variety of meditative preparation practices including Kundalini, mantras, pranayama, sound and visualisation techniques, curating a bespoke library of methods from which to draw inspiration, offering the perfect mindful journey for each unique mind on any given day.

For those who experience overwhelming thoughts and struggle to stay present, we practice Yoga Nidra - slowing down the breath and heart rate, settling the nervous system and using these techniques regularly so the practice becomes easier with each experience.

Over time we build the skill of staying focused which begins to sharpen mental clarity as well as providing the inner space necessary to intuit our inner wisdom.
